was born in Leningrad and emigrated to Europe with her parents at a young age. A graduate of Heidelberg University, she became a world and word traveler, translator, and dancer. In addition to her teaching and concert work, Yeva has worked at various theaters and festivals, including the international festival “Theater der Welt,” and since 2017, has created video animations, translations, and surtitles for touring live concerts and theater productions, including for Berlin’s Gorki Theater. She is a fixture in the Yiddish cultural scene and has contributed her talents to festivals such as Ashkenaz Toronto, Yiddish New York, Yiddish Summer Weimar, and Shtetl Berlin.
