has translated more than 50 Norwegian and Danish works into French. His favorite genres are contemporary novels, theater, comics, and youth literature. The authors he has translated include Sara Stridsberg, Johan Harstad, Dag Solstad, and Madame Nielsen. He is also an editor and translator of German-language comics. He works with Mikael Ross, Hannah Brinkmann, and Uli Oesterle, among others. In 2008, he received the Norwegian Royal Order of Merit for his contributions in promoting Norwegian literature in France.
