Uljana Wolf

is a poet and translator born in Berlin in 1979. She has published five volumes of poetry and numerous poetry translations, most recently the volume muttertask. Gedichte (kookbooks, 2023) and as translator: Don Mee Choi, DMZ Kolonie (Spector Books, 2023). Her essay collection Etymological Gossip. Essays and Speeches (kookbooks, 2021) was awarded the 2022 Leipzig Book Fair Prize in the non-fiction/essay category. In her essays and poems, Wolf listens for the “rubbing as linguistic continental plates collide” (Denis Scheck). In May 2022, Uljana Wolf curated the international literature festival Poetica VI in Cologne.
