Simoné Goldschmidt-Lechner

(sgl) is a writer, translator and interdisciplinary artist. She is the author of the novel Knives, Tongues (Matthes & Seitz, 2022) and has (co-)translated a number of academic and literary works into German and English. Her recent translations include Against White Feminism by Rafia Zakaria (2022), Exposure by Olivia Sudjic (2023), The Patriarchs by Angela Saini (2023) and Angela Y. Davis: An Autobiography (2023, with Melody Makeda Ledwon and Mirjam Nünning). She has recently collaborated on several theatre and performance projects. Her bilingual novella Days you’ll find me (in a place I like to go) will be published in early 2024.
