Joana Kohrs

born in 1973, worked as an actress under her birth name Adu-Gyamfi for over 20 years and appeared in numerous TV and cinema productions. Joana Kohrs has since turned her back on acting, but enjoys returning regularly for readings. Her most recent performance was a staged reading of the text “And I dreamt I was drowning” by the British author Amanda Wilkin at the Stückemarkt of the Berlin Theatertreffen in 2022. Today, she runs the Black Universe Agency together with Bradley Iyamu and has also been actively working for two years as a DE&I consultant, mainly for cast and crew on film sets, to create a conscious and respectful environment.
