Irina Bondas

born in Kyiv in 1985, studied interpreting and political science in Leipzig and Edinburgh and works as a freelance conference interpreter and translator from English, Russian and Ukrainian as well as a lecturer and cultural mediator in Berlin. She has researched translation in theatre, works for various international festivals and cultural institutions and translates journalism, theatre, poetry and short prose.
