born in 1970, studied American and Portuguese literature in Hamburg, Lisbon, and Berkeley and translates literature from English, including works by Rachel Cusk, Anne Enright, and Claire-Louise Bennett. She is a member of the Association of German-language Translators of Literary and Academic Works and lives in Berlin.
