was born in Dresden in 1989, graduated from high school there in 2009 and subsequently completed voluntary service in Lviv, Ukraine. She studied linguistics, Slavic studies, Ukrainian studies, and economics in Greifswald and Olomouc, Czech Republic, until 2018. Since 2012, she has translated journalistic and nonfiction texts, participated in various translation workshops and literary publication projects, completed translation internships, and worked both at the university and the Alfried Krupp Wissenschaftskolleg of the University of Greifswald in the focus on CEE. She now works as an editor and a freelance translator from Ukrainian.
