born in Split, lives in Münster. She is a literary scholar (Kriminalistische Dekonstruktion. On the Poetics of Postmodern Crime Novels, Königshausen und Neumann 1998) and author (Olivas Garten, Eichborn 2013, TB Ullstein 2017; Träume und Kulissen, Jung und Jung 2021). As a translator from Croatian and Serbian, she has received numerous grants and awards, most recently the Barthold Heinrich Brockes Fellowship (2020). In 2018, together with Ivana Sajko, she was awarded the International Literature Prize by the Haus der Kulturen der Welt; together with Dino Pešut, the German Youth Theater Prize; and together with Iva Brdar, the Brücke Berlin Theater Prize.
