Aleksandra Szymanska

is a culture manager, expert on cultural policies and producer. She is the director of Urban Culture Institute in Gdansk and author of the concept of the UCI institution, Cultural Observatory, Narrations Festival, Found in Translation. Gdansk Literary Meetups and open UCI project. She graduated from the National Higher School of Theatre, Television and Film in Łódź and the University of Warsaw, City University in London (MA in Arts Management) and is an alumna of Leadership Academy for Poland and DeVos Institute Global Fellowship programme. She is responsible for the cultural strategy for Gdańsk that became a part of the Gdansk 2030 Development Strategy.
